Install ChatGPT

Open the app once after installing, then quit it completely. Copy your setup command on this page and follow the three steps to connect.

Install WorkBuddy

Open WorkBuddy once after installing, then quit it completely before continuing with setup.

Choose your usage scope

Personal use: select “Personal use” in the setup area.

Team use: select “Team use” in the setup area. New members should enter an invitation code to join the team first.

Copy and run the command

Choose ChatGPT and Windows, then copy the command. Fully quit the app, including its tray icon. Open Windows PowerShell from Start, paste the command and press Enter.

Choose ChatGPT and macOS, then copy the command. Quit the app with Command + Q. Press Command + Space, open Terminal, paste the command and press Enter.

Reopen the app and check the models

After setup finishes, reopen ChatGPT and check that the model selector shows the expected model names. Then start a new chat and send “Hello”. Once you receive a reply, you are ready to go.

Manual connection details

For manual setup in WorkBuddy, open Settings → Models → Add → Custom and enter the values below. Copy the complete request URL.

Cannot copy the command?

Select Show in the command box, then select the full visible command and copy it manually. Never copy sk-**** or a screenshot of a key.

Setup failed or the app still asks you to sign in?

Fully quit the app, copy a fresh command from the correct personal or team setup panel and run it again. If it still fails, submit the error or a screenshot through Feedback. Hide your API key.

Connected, but cannot send a message?

Check your personal or team allowance. You can complete setup with a zero balance, but sending messages requires funds. Team members also need an allowance from the owner.

Why are model prices and usage records in different currencies?

Each model card labels its currency: DeepSeek official reference rates are in CNY, and other model rates are in USD. Customer charges, plan allowances and usage records are in CNY. Your account records determine actual charges.

How do I purchase a plan?

Sign in and open Plans, then choose a plan and payment method. Your pay-as-you-go balance can buy subscriptions directly. If it is insufficient, top up or choose another available payment method.
